Linda grew up in a unique small country town near the University of Illinois. She has taught pottery for fifty years, from primary to college level. Her interest in Japanese arts, particularly ceramics and Chado, Japanese Tea ceremony, was sparked in undergraduate school.
Linda is currently teaching pottery and has work available at Austin Pottery Studio and Gallery, 5442 Burnet Rd, Austin, TX. She has assisted her Chado teacher, Dr. Sheila Fling, in presenting Chado to local groups since 2009, and now holds an Urasenke teacher certificate herself.
